Who we are
Align Pilates & Movement is a personal movement and Pilates business dedicated to helping clients move with confidence, build strength, and feel more connected in their bodies. Each session is thoughtfully designed to blend mindful movement, precise technique, and individualized guidance so progress feels approachable, safe, and sustainable over time.
Founded by Becca Wilson, Align Pilates & Movement was created as a space where movement meets intention. With a strong belief that no two bodies are the same, Becca focuses on tailoring every session to the individual in front of her whether that is through private sessions, small group classes, or special events. The goal is not just to work out, but to build awareness, resilience, and trust in your body.
In January 2024, Becca took her first Pilates class and was instantly hooked. What began as a single class quickly turned into a commitment to showing up for herself. She joined Bodybar, where the studio soon felt like a second home, and eventually began working the front desk. Just a few months later, she was presented with the opportunity to enroll in Bodybar’s instructor training program and jumped in without hesitation.
The training process was both empowering and challenging, pushing her outside of her comfort zone in the best way. After completing and testing out of the program as soon as she was eligible, Becca began teaching classes in October 2024.
In January 2026, Becca took the next step in her journey by enrolling in the comprehensive Pilates certification program through The Lab in Chicago. From the very first weekend, something shifted. Despite having taught over 600 group classes, this experience brought a new depth and perspective to her practice. She continues to move through the program and is excited to integrate this evolving knowledge into her teaching, bringing even greater precision, intention, and care to every session.
At the heart of Align Pilates & Movement is a belief that Pilates and movement are tools for longevity, not quick fixes. Sessions emphasize strength, mobility, stability, and breath, helping clients feel supported as they move through everyday life, athletic pursuits, and moments of challenge.
The word Align represents more than posture or form. It reflects the intention behind every session. Alignment is about finding balance between effort and ease, strength and control, challenge and compassion.
